Adding a Name and Email into the Printer Address Book

Issue/Question

• My name and email are not on the printer for scan to email.

Environment

• Konica Printer

User Role

• Employees

Cause

• If the name and email you are searching for are not found in the printer, you may need to register your e-mail in the printer's Address Book.

Resolution

• Select the Home button on the printer, then select Address Book:

• In the Address Book, confirm that your name and email are not found in the Address Book list, then select New:

• Under Address Type, select Email:

• Input your first and last name under Name and Sort Character. Under index, select the Letter Group containing the first initial of your first name. Input your email address in the very last text box. Select Register.

• The printer should now have registered your name and email into its Address Book. To confirm the registration, you can just search the Address Book for your name and corresponding email address. Verify all your information is correct.
