Payment Plan

Transact Tuition Payment Plan Information

Transact offers no interest payment plans; the budget amount can include tuition and fees. Payment
plans are for campus-based and post-professional students only. Payment plans are NOT available for
non-degree-seeking/leveling students. There is a one-time application fee per contract created; a 4-month contract is $35.00, and an 8- or 12-month contract is $55.00.

NOTE: Transact will not display your university balance. Your balance can be reviewed via the Bursar
page of your myUSA portal. When creating payment plans, you will manually enter your plan budget
for each plan you set.

You will make equal monthly payments to Transact (according to the length of the payment plan you select). Transact will then forward your payment to the University, usually a month in arrears. 

Regardless of how many payment contracts are set up, all balances must be paid in full before the final month of your graduating term.
If you are a graduating student, please keep your payment plan timeline in mind, as you will need to pay
your balance in full before your graduating term ends. Failure to do so will result in a Bursar account
hold and financial dismissal.

Accounts with outstanding installments are subject to a Bursar hold.

*Note – If you create 8 or 12-month plans each term, you will have a payment plan overlap*

Many students set 12-month plans, with estimated annual tuition/fees costs, so they only pay the application fee annually and have the peace of mind of knowing that their tuition is included for a year. (Note: Payment plans will not self-adjust if there are tuition increases.)

Once you set up a payment plan contract, please notify the Business Office Bursar that you have a plan and the dollar amount so that it can be verified and noted on your account.
